It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Wayne Yeates (Athens, Illinois), born in Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Yeates and Margaret Yeates (Bryant); and his brothers, Stephen Yeates and Charles Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lynde; his children, Jeff Lynde of Jackson, TN and Kirsten Koller (John) of Athens, IL; his granddaughter Rosalee Koller of Athens, IL; and his siblings, Donna Semon of Riverton, IL, Frank Yeates of Athens, IL, Pete Bryant (Kitsy) of Springfield, IL, Johnny Bryant (Sue) of Athens, IL, Jimmy Bryant (Roxanne) of Cantrall, IL, Kelly Berndt (Steve) of Athens, IL and Karen Reagon of Cantrall, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Kenneth "Skinner" Yeates.
