Kimmons of Athens, Illinois, born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Wolverton and Eldon Kimmons; his daughter Kimberly Sue Kimmons; and his brothers, Neal Kimmons, Jack Kimmons and Gene Kimmons.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Scehnet; his children, Donald Kevin Kimmons (Bernice) of Pleasant Plains and Susan Nielsen (George) of Springfield; his grandson Greg Kimmons (Crystal) of Pleasant Plains; and his great grandchildren, Wesley and Taylor Kimmons of Pleasant Plains. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
