The memory of Barbara Ann Fawns of Athens, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Blakley and Mary Blakley (Boarman); her husband Loren Fawns; and her siblings, Richard Blakley and Margaret Irwin.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Fawns (Karen) and Karen Hedge (Edwin); her grandchildren, Andrew Clotfelter (Marie), Blake Clotfelter (Kristi), Ashley Jennings (Tommy) and Katie Deane (Kristopher); and her sisters, Jane Lederbrand, Nancy King, Kathy Clemens and Lisa Madlinger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mott & Henning Funeral Home (206 N Main St, Athens, IL 62613). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (309 Springfield Rd, Athens, IL 62613). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at the Pawnee Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to HSHS Hospice or Holy Family Catholic Church.
