With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marguerite Jackson of Assumption, Illinois, who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Marguerite find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet Heiter and Gertrude Heiter (Campbell); and her husband Preceding. She is survived by: her sons, Randall Jackson (Marianne) of Rochester, IL, Michael Jackson of Assumption, IL and Thomas Jackson (Theresa) of Tucson, AZ; and her sister Bertha Ilene Wise of Golconda, IL.. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Seitz Funeral Home (101 S Walnut St, Assumption, IL 62510). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Assumption Historical Society or Assumption Public Library District.
