It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Virden (Assumption, Illinois), born in Blue Mound, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Eva. He is survived by: his children, Robert A. Virden (Lora) of Assumption, Lonnie R. Virden of Owaneco and Tammy Newberry (Rodney) of Lovington; and his sister Maryann Jones of Rochester, Indiana.. He is also survived by Grandchildren; many Great-Grandchildren.
