He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rever and Mary Rever (Blondiau); and his son James Robert Rever. He is survived by: his wife Norma Schafer; his daughter Dee Kirby (Phil) of Springfield, IL; his daughter-in-law Schales Nagle of Taylorville, IL; his grandchildren, Carrie (Brandan), Rachel (Jamey), Lauren (Eric), George Luke (MacKenzie) and Anna Lee; and his brother-in-law Cletus Graden of Assumption, IL.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; a niece and several nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
