He is survived by: his children, Mike Burrus of Moweaqua and Susan Morrissey (John) of Taylorville, Illinois.; his grandchildren, John E. Morrissey (Michelle) of Taylorville, Illinois, Jennifer Vogel (Tom) of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Andrea Tomasello of Assumption, Illinois, Randy Burrus (Monica) of Assumption, Illinois, Christopher Burrus of Clarksville, Tennessee and Kevin Burrus of Clarksville, Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Leighton, Xanna, Danny, Michelle, Brayden, Alyse, Mary, Chloe, Eva, Will, Colten, Gabriel, Jonathan, Taiylor and Zachariah.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Cemetery (410 W 3rd St, Assumption, IL 62510).
