He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sloan and Beulah Sloan (Bridgeman); and his wife Mary Joan Uffelman. He is survived by: his children, Central A, Marilyn Sloan-Couch (Ken) of Roanoke, IL and Cinda Kistenfeger of Assumption, IL; his grandchildren, Heather Tarvin of Buford, GA, Courtney Just (Greg) of Assumption, IL, Cami Kistenfeger of Decatur, IL and Colby Kistenfeger of Assumption, IL; and his great grandchildren, Cora Tarvin, Caleb Just and Addison Just.
Memorials may be made to Shriner Hospitals for Children or Central A&M FFA.
