With solemn reverence, we commemorate Clara Bilyeu of Assumption, Illinois, born in Odon, Indiana, whose life came to an end on August 11, 2024 at the age of 99, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Clara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Clara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Christenberry and Clara A. Christenberry (Edwards); her husband Preceding; and her daughter Carolyn Bush. She is survived by: her sons, James Bilyeu (Judy) of Bella Vista, AR and Mark Bilyeu (Lorie) of Assumption, IL; and her son-in-law Thurman Bush of Hendersonville, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Eastern Star Assumption Tacusah Chapter or Shriners Children's Hospital.
