With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy G. Pinkston of Assumption, Illinois, born in Moweaqua, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Pinkston and Aileen Pinkston (Jordan); his children, Brian and Pam; and his siblings, John, Blaine, Tom Pinkston, Shirley Scott and Connie Caulk.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Burton; his sons, Rodney Pinkston (Jo Ann) of Cataula, GA and Billy Pinkston (Dawn) of Decatur, IL; his granddaughters, Breanna Kessel and Briley Pinkston; and his great grandchild Beckham Gerhardt.

All donations received will be directed to his memorial at the National Shoot to Retrieve Association.
