He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Ken Beach; and his grandfather Raul Tarango. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Heng and Teresa Heng (Basford) of Ashton; his wife Krista Beach of Ashton; his mother-in-law Karen Harmon of Ashton; his sister Katie Meyer (Jared) of Rochelle; his nephews, Nathan, William and Peter Meyer; his grandparents, Jack Heng (DeeDee), Jack Basford (Betty), Larry Lambert (Jane), Marie Tarango, Willie Beach (Sarah) and Paul Harmon (Deb); his siblings-in-law, Kyle Beach of Ashton, Nathaniel Harmon of Orlando, FL and Maddie Atkinson of Rock Falls; and his pets, Ruger and Kimber. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
