With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela Ackland (Ashton, Illinois), born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leland White and Florence White (Koonts); her husband Lloyd Ackland of Compton; her children, Lisa Carriere (Jason) of Indianapolis, IN and Todd Ackland of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Ian and Elena Carriere of Indianapolis, IN; her brother Dana White (Shirley) of Edina, MN; and also Carolyn. She was also cherished by three children.
