She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Schafer and Gertrude Schafer; her husband Robert Thrasher; her brother Melvin Schafer (Betty Schafer); her children, Nadine Wickert (Jim Wickert) of Dixon and Roger Thrasher (Bekki Thrasher) of Dixon; her grandchildren, Teri Keegan (Jim Keegan), Allen Wickert, Cheri Wickert Ben Thrasher (Darci Thrasher), Nick Thrasher and Adam Thrasher (Betsy Thrasher); and her great grandchildren, Ellie Keegan, Jacob Wickert, Mollee Wickert, Dylan Thrasher, Tim Thrasher and Marc Thrasher.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
