He is survived by: his children, Cindy Santala (Darrel) of Coeur, Jody Zhe (Tom) of Rochelle, IL and Dean Ackland (Laurie) of West Brooklyn, IL; his siblings, Lloyd Ackland (Carolyn) of Compton, IL and Marilyn Sandoval (Daniel) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Jamie Sharpe (Aaron), Douglas Silvius, Jessica Zhe, Jacob Silvius, Kyler Ackland, Kortney Ackland and Kaleb Ackland; his stepgrandchildren, Robert, Chase, Lane McKenna, Adam Santala and Brie Torres; and his great grandchildren, Willow, Paxton Sharpe, Leah Scarbrough, Laken Ackland and Blaire Ackland.
