He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Ida Francis Turner, Sr. (Jordan); his wife Evelyn Bentley; his daughter Theresa Turner; and his brother Clarence Turner, Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Vernon C. Turner (Cindy) of Manhattan, KS, William H. Turner of Jacksonville, FL, Daniel P. Turner (Carly) of Beardsford, SD and John D. Turner of Scotland, IL; and his siblings, Alfred Turner of St. Louis, MO, Bertha Courtney of St. Louis, MO and Virginia Moore of Goose Creek, MO. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
