He was predeceased by: his father Calvin Freezeland. He is survived by: his wife Jane Freezeland; his sons, Tad Freezeland (Jackie) of Charleston, Jamon Freezeland (Tonya) of Casey, Phillip Freezeland of Odin and Terry Garrett of Oakland; his great grandchildren, Byntlee, Aubriella and Brinley; his mother Sarah "Petie" Degler; and his former wife Janie Elston.
No funeral services are being held, in part because of the ongoing pandemic, but also because Tad would never have wanted "people gawking at him.".
Donations will also be welcomed to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
