He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Jones and Fern Jones (Lawrence); his former wife Janie Jones; and his sisters, Leona Bennett, Margie Halfacre and Linda Jett.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Jones, Jr. of Iuka, Nic Jones of Iuka, Shelly Taitt (Drew) of Iuka and Jody Slover (Ronnie) of Iuka; his stepchildren, Nick Hirsch, Rayann of Woodlawn, Dalton Hirsch of Okawville and Jamie Biegeleisen of Central City; and his siblings, Leon Jones of St. Louis, MO and Thelma Foster (Herb) of Salem. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Evergreen Christian Church and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia, Illinois 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Jones family.
