She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Chambliss and Lela Mae Chambliss (Owens); her granddaughter Danielle Spurlock; and her brother Robert "Bob" Chambliss. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Stube; her children, Tom Waters of Illinois, Danny Waters (Maryann) of Mount Vernon, Karen Sue Elliott (Steven) of Bardwell and Kristy Spurlock (Ricky) of San Antonio, Texas; her siblings, Wilma Minor of Keenes, Mildred Jones of Bluford, Carolyn Riley (Bob) of Bluford and Roger Chambliss of Mount Vernon; and her stepson Alvin Joe Stube. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
