He was predeceased by: his daughter Michelle Irvin; and his siblings, Paul Baxter, Sue Lemmons and Jane Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Baxter of Ashley, Illinois; his children, John Baxter Jr. (Dianna) of Christopher, Michael Chwarczinski (Amber) of Zeigler, Illinois, Wanda Baxter of Zeigler and Gina Henry (Rich) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his siblings, Ray Baxter (Dorothy) of Sesser, Luke Baxter of Sesser, Illinois and Millie Pasko (Mike) of Buckner, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Baxter of Sesser, Illinois. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
