With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Calhoun of Ashland, Illinois, born in Tallula, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calhoun and Velma Calhoun (Scott); his former wife Sharon Arnold; his wife Emma W. Willems; and his brothers, Thomas Calhoun and James Russell.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Calhoun, Jr. (Amy) of Springfield and Mark Anthony Calhoun (Lindsey) of Springfield; his granddaughter Adriana Calhoun of Springfield; and his brother Robert Calhoun (Margie) of Spaulding. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was very generous, and so memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or the American Diabetes Association.
