He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eleanor Stribling (Purvines) and James Thomas Stribling; his wife Eleanor Frey; his children, James Thomas Stribling (Tom) and Sally Durako (Doug); his grandchildren, Lane Stribling, Molly Kowynia (Ed) and Nathan Durako (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Vivien Kowynia, Cooper and Finn Durako; and his siblings, Lloyd Epler Stribling (L. E.) and Nancy Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name may be made to the Ashland Volunteer Fire Department or to Prairie Heart Foundation in Springfield.
