He was predeceased by: his parents, Rusell Taapken and Dolores Taapken (Reynolds). He is survived by: his wife Faith McHenry; his son Justin Taapken (Makenzie) of Ashland; and his siblings, Shelley Grant (Rex Jaronske) of Pleasant Plains and Kelly Taapken of Springfield.
