He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Emma Clara Jurgens (Leinberger); his former wife Florence M. Wallner; and his siblings, Helen Jurgens, Dorothy Jurgens and Walter William Jurgens.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra J. Broers; his children, Deborah Bush (Mike) of Fishers, IN and Steve Jurgens (Peggie) of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Ty Bush, Brandon Bush, Jennifer Stice (Brach) and Allison Spenner (Eric). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice, Zion Lutheran Church, or Ashland Fire Department.
