Ervin of Ashland, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Junior and Lyla Fern Ervin (Mullens). He is survived by: his wife Patsy Chaney; his son Matthew Ervin (Tamera Norton) of Ashland; his stepdaughter Angelic Mandrel of Springfield; his grandchildren, William Ervin and Lexi Ervin; and his sisters, Joyce Merriman of Virginia, Debbie Hish of Salina, KS, Brenda Harrison (Tom) of Virginia, Jackie Garver (Bill, Jr.) of Virginia, Carolyn Sweatman (Roger) of Jacksonville, Jan Blakeman (Donni) of Virginia and Mikel Ervin (Lynne) of Petersburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
