He was predeceased by: his parents, Clive Herman and Carrie Bell Waldo Collins; his son Donald R. Collins; his grandson Michael W. Collins; his great grandchild Jeremy Jr.; his brother Billy Wayne; his sister-in-law Mary Collins; and his friend Jeff Arwine.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred L. Collins (Gibson); his children, Michael J. (Linda K. Collins) of Arthur and Lisa C. Guidarini of Crystal Lake, IL.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Hale (Stephanie) of Arthur, Becky Gutierrez (Isai) of Arthur, Kyle Alexander Collins (Alex) of Arthur, Allison Guidarini of Dekalb, IL, Adam Guidarini (Erin) of Lakewood, OH, Brian Guidarini of Johnston, IA and Greg Collins of Long Creek, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Nathan, Harper Hale, Courtney Gingerich (Drew), Malachi, Elijah, Eden Gutierrez, Lexi Oliver and Ruth Murtaugh.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Penn Station (122 E Progress St, Arthur, IL 61911).
