Bontrager and Lovina Bontrager (Kaufman); his sons, Willis Bontrager and Ernest Bontrager; his grandson Mark Bontrager; his siblings, Ida Otto (Otis), Edna Miller (Andy), Carrie Herschberger (Levi), Fannie Schrock (Jake), Melvin Bontrager (Laura), Levi Bontrager, Eli Bontrager (Katie), Anna Bontrager and Lorene Herschberger; and his brothers-in-law, Henry A. Miller, Joe M Diener, Mannasses Bontrager Jr. and Glenn Helmuth.
He is survived by: his wife Ella A. Miller; his daughter Marie Kuhns (Dannie) of Arthur, IL.; his daughter-in-law Esther Kurtz (Nelson) of Sullivan, IL; his siblings, Mattie Miller of Arthur, IL, Liz Diener of Humboldt, IL, Verna Bontrager of Sarasota, FL, Mary Chupp (Lewis) of Tuscola, IL, William Bontrager (Fannie) of Millersburg, OH, Irvin Bontrager (Mary) of Middlebury, IN, Clara Herschberger (Nelson) of Arcola, IL, Katie Helmuth of Glen Flora, WI and Samuel Bontrager of Purdin, MO; and his sister-in-law Alma Schweitzer of Goshen, IN. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
