With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Faye Silvanik of Arthur, Illinois, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Udo Jacob and Grace Ellen Grafhorst (Leonard); her husband Robert Alexander Silvanik; her daughter Kim Railey; her grandson Gentry Aubrey; and her siblings, James Grafhorst, Hilda Hornbeck (George), Grace Moore, Jessie Ruggles and Connie Pisciotta (Tommy).
She is survived by: her children, Connie Lefaivre (Peter) of Fort Mitchell, KY and Bob Silvanik (Amy) of Arthur, IL; her son-in-law Alan Railey; her grandchildren, Michael Railey of Louisville, KY, Taylor Birk (Brandon) of Louisville, KY, Jackson Silvanik (Heather) of Lexington, KY and Jordan Silvanik of Lexington, KY; her great grandchildren, Mason, Ireland Birk, Owen and Ethan Silvanik; and her nieces and nephews, Grace Morris (Pisciotta), Sue Conery (Hornbeck), Patty Moore, Amy Jo Ruggles, Patrick Moore and George Hornbeck Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
