It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerda Yoder (Arthur, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Wilmer J. Yoder; her grandparents, Joe D., Amanda E. Yoder (Otto), Joas A. and Barbara M. Herschberger (Schrock); and her uncle Milton J. Yoder.
She is survived by: her mother Ella J. Yoder (Herschberger) of Arthur, IL; her siblings, Duane Yoder (Wilma Arlene), Steven Yoder of Atwood, IL, Wilbur Yoder (Barbara), Jeffery Yoder (Rosetta Faye) and JoEllen Jess (David Lynn) of Arthur, IL; and her aunt Verna Herschberger. She is also survived by twelve nephews, six nieces and two great-nephews, as well as many uncles, aunts, and friends.
