It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Hieser of Armington, Illinois, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwyn Thayer and Anna Rootes Thayer; her daughter Sarah; and her brother Kyle Thayer. She is survived by: her husband John E. Hieser; her son Christian J. Hieser of Armington; and her granddaughter Madison.
