He was predeceased by: his mother Ronda Marlatt; and his father-in-law John Allgood (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Karen Allgood; his children, Jason Marlatt of Stanford, IL, Julie Marlatt of Bloomington, IL and Jena Welker (Ryan) of Springfield, IL.; his siblings, Regina Siscoe (Kevin), Becky Stroup, Ken Allgood (Mary), John Dorsey (Kathy) and Keith Allgood (Sherri); and his mother-in-law Janice Allgood.

Memorials may be made to Armington Fire and Rescue Squad.
