He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Ring and Eleanor Ring; his wife Sonja Elisabeth; his daughter-in-law Margaret Eileen Ring; and his brother Rev. William V. Ring.

He is survived by: his sons, Todd William Ring (Ginny) and Timothy Jon Ring; and his grandchildren, Robert John, Bridget Eileen Dohm, Mackenzie Elisabeth and Mitchell Todd Ring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Orchard Evangelical Free Church.
