He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Lamps and Hannah Lamps (Meisel); his wife Mona Rett; his son William Lamps (Marilyn) of Oglesby; his granddaughters, Traci Hancock, Tammy Miskell and Carrie Rossi; and his sister Arlene Lamps. He was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
