She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Kirkland Lafferty, Stephen Lafferty (Melanie) and Alison Lafferty; her grandchildren, Christopher and Jenna; and her brother Gary Affolter (Nancy).

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in her name to any organization that supports the performing arts in music.
