He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Johnston, Sr. and Marie McCambridge; his sisters, Rose "Argy" Schreiber (Johnston), Charlotte Farris (Johnston) and Mary Mango (Johnston); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Gast, Elmer Schreiber, Dan Farris and Charles Huebner.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Evie"; his children, Michael Johnston (Jen) and Susan Honzelka (Steve); his grandchildren, Xander, Ben, McKenna Johnston, Matt, Emily and Tim Honzelka; his brothers, Art Johnston (Doris) and Jack Johnston (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Jamie Fink (Bob), Maxine Huebner and Lyle Gast (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
