It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie M. Lund of Arlington Heights, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Ellgass and Monica Ellgass (Wojtarowicz); her husband Marvin O. Lund; her children, David Lund and Deana Runde (Tom); and her brother Roy Ellgass.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Lund; her grandchildren, Cindy Lund, Monica Lund, Joey Runde and Jessie Runde; and her great grandchild Luca James Runde.

In lieu of flowers, make a toast to Valerie while having her favorite: a Beefeater martini!
