He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Winchester); his children, Margaret "Amy" (Bob Zahorik), Richard, Jr. (Angela), Anne (Howard Firestone), James and Michael (Christa); his grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Samantha Zahorik, Katie (Ryan Hooley), Mark, Danny Schermerhorn, Erin, Matthew, Andrew, Sarah Firestone, Caroline, Elizabeth and Brigid Schermerhorn; his great grandchild Amelia "Mia" Hooley; his siblings, S. B. and Margaret; and his brothers-in-law, James Winchester (late Joan "Tracy"), John Winchester (Laura) and Dennis Winchester (Gayle).
