He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eleanor L Bull Cook and Ronald W Cook; his son Thomas; his wife Renee Ethel Cardell; his children, Dr. Martha C. Schneerman, Timothy Richard Cook (Mary) and Mary Ann Cook Mulligan (James Mulligan); his grandchildren, Jenny Schneerman Schweigert (Jeff Schweigert), Chris Schneerman, Heather Roberts, Brie Cook Larson (John Larson), Taryn Taylor (Shane), Sami (Gavin Geier), Cook Tim Mulligan (Krista) and Molly Mulligan Brown (Mike Brown); and his great grandchildren, Lane Christopher, Clayton Daniel, Wyatt Richard Schweigert, Tim, Harper Larson, Brooke, Audrey, Charlotte Mulligan, Abby and Ben Brown. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
