She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Essig (Charles) of Carol Stream, Sue Taramelli (Paul) of Carol Stream, Kim Stubits (Joe) of Winfield, Kurt Bornhofen of Arlington Heights and Gerald W. Bornhofen of Chicago; her grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Christopher, Lindsey, Meghan, Allison, Kelly, Madelyn, Jack, Mark and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Kensey, Ella, Riley, Jaxson, Kaia, Mason and Dawson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
