It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Gyssler of Arlington Heights, Illinois, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William'Bill' Hammer and Agnes Hammer; her husband Frank Joseph Gyssler of Chicago; and her brother Harry Hammer (Audrey) of Arlington Heights. She is survived by: her great-uncle William; her family, Park Ridge and Marion; and her children, Keith (Katherine), Gary (Kathy), Scott (Sharon), Wayne (Judith), Gregg, Gayle Marvel (Darren) and Glen (Gloria). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the G. L. Hills Funeral Home (745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
