We bid farewell to John W. Grosklaus of Arlington Heights, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 16, 2025 at the age of 82. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean; his children, Steven (Anne) and Kathleen (Glenn Christerson); his grandchildren, Katherine Hunter, Steven Christerson, John Grosklaus and Matthew Christerson; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Imburgia (John) and James Alexander.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (700 S Meier Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Cecilia Church (700 S Meier Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
