He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Simmons; his sons, James (Annie Simmons), Garry (Sheri Simmons) and William (Markie Simmons); his granddaughters, Samantha (Jonathan Colatorti), Meghan Simmons and Olivia Simmons; and his great grandchild Emma Colatorti.
