With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ritchie (Arlington Heights, Illinois), born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ritchie and Blanche Ritchie (Eastman). He is survived by: his siblings, Alice and William (Georgia); his wife Judith Ritchie; his daughters-in-law, Michelle, Donna and Angela; and his grandchildren, Daniel, David (Kiara), Samuel, Carista (Sebastian), Ava and Autumn.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home (2000 E Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Lakewood Memorial Park (30W730 US-20, Elgin, IL 60120).
