He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burke and Elizabeth Burke; and his sisters, Grace Bonneville, Helen Muelner, Betty Burke and Margaret Mitton.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kelley.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to either Misericordia or St. James Catholic Church.
