It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Epstein (Arlington Heights, Illinois), who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Epstein; her siblings, Sarah and Bernard Bagel; and her siblings-in-law, Norman and Shana Epstein.
She is survived by: her children, Fran Shalin (Joel), Phyllis Theodoropoulos (Gus) and Gail Spears (Eric); her grandchildren, Michael Shalin (Michelle), Lisa Berns (Brian), Tom Theodoropoulos, Matthew Hayes (Laine) and Rachel Mosher (Fred); and her great grandchildren, Maddy, Cooper Shalin, Joleigh, Aliya, Brea Berns, Benjamin, Charlotte Hayes, Adelyn and Oliver Mosher.
