He was predeceased by: his son Brian Fait. He is survived by: his wife Joan Fait; his daughter Sara Campbell (Sean); his granddaughters, Claire, Grace and Brynn; and his siblings, Kenneth Fait and Deborah Purcell. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
