He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene and Delia; and his siblings, Tella Colburn (Bud), Clara Surdan (Herm), Henry Miller and Cora Gallaugher (Roger).

He is survived by: his spouse Camille; his children, Linda, Greg, Amy Kern (Philip) and Laura Eder (Dan); his grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey Miller, Alexandra, Philip (Georgina), Eliot (Mikaela), James Kern, Caitlin, Maggie and Ryan Eder (Shawnee); his great grandchild Calvin Kern; and his sister-in-law Joanna Bischof (Al).
