She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Benesch and Emilie Benesch; her husband Viktor Michel; and her siblings, Paulina Essig, Karl Benesch, Rudy Benesch, Johann Benesch, Ludwig Benesch, Joseph Benesch and Otto Benesch.
She is survived by: her children, Edmund Michel (Patricia) and Inge Whalen (Michael); her grandsons, Matthew Michel (Jaclyn), Eric Michel (Abbie Hamilton), Sean Whalen and Timothy Whalen (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Grace Whalen and Benjamin Whalen.
