It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diana Lynn Nys of Arlington Heights, Illinois, born in Oyster Bay, New York, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Durkee. She is survived by: her mother Theresa Durkee; her husband Randal Nys; her siblings, Tim Durkee (Cheri), Susan Durkee and Ruth Brick (Mike); and her nieces and nephews, Matt, Erik, Kelly Brick, Megan Current (Max) and Nicole Durkee.

“Randy, I am so sorry for your loss of Diana. Diana was the star athlete on the software team I coached in the early 80's, at Mt Prospect Bible Church. She actually caught the final out in the championship game that we won! More than Diana's athleticism though, I'll mostly remember her for her positivity and spirit. She was so inspiring, a true Leader :-) Sincerely, Joe Donna”
