He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vocaty and Helen Vocaty; his wife Carmelina; and his siblings, Pearl, Marlene, Diane, Rich and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph M. Vocaty (Regina) and Renee J. Wright; his grandchildren, C. J. Vocaty, Jennifer J. Wright and Ashley L. Wright; and his son-in-law James A. Wright. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McMurrough Funeral Chapel (101 Park Pl, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 would be greatly appreciated.
