We bid farewell to David H. Knight of Arlington Heights, Illinois, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 30, 2024 at the age of 88. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Kay; and his parents, Captain Raymond and Lillian Knight. He is survived by: his children, Craig Knight (Janice), Susan Busse (Darrin) and Cheryl Nelson (James); his grandchildren, Kyle Gretz (Aby), Colin Gretz (Kiley) and Justin Gretz (Annabell); his stepgrandchildren, Steven Nelson (Jocelyn), Andrew Nelson and Caitlyn Nelson; his great grandchild Noah James Gretz; his stepgreat-grandchild Maverick James Nelson; his brother Dennis Knight (Ellie); his niece Melanie; and his nephew Kip.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home (235 N Main St, Wauconda, IL 60084). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
